Northshore Flooding Tonight...
Wow, just like back in 1978, on the Eve of the first of our "hundred year floods", a similar upper air pattern has stalled T-storms over the same area resulting in 5-8 inches of rain in less than 5 hours. Couple that with golf ball size hail and strong winds that toppled trees, needless to say, it has not been a good night to be outdoors north of Lake P. Fortunately, much lighter showers have dampened the southshore. We may not be done with the storms as a cold front will sweep through during the morning and early afternoon hours on Saturday. that could bring another round of severe weather before we dry out for Sunday thru Tuesday.
