Another Semi-Wet Weekend...
It appears we will have our 5th consecutive weekend with showers on either Friday, Saturday or Sunday. A powerful upper storm is moving out of the Rockies tonight heading for the Central Plains tomorrow. It will likely produce another tornado outbreak well north of Louisiana. However, we could see some strong storms develop after the noon hour and that will spoil not only the JazzFest, but tomorrow night's Zoo-To-Do. A slow moving cold front should finally reach us by late Saturday afternoon bringing drier air & clearing skies for Sunday. Really nice weather returns for Monday & Tuesday. Timing is everything, but Friday and Saturday will have several rainy periods with the possibility of a few strong storms & heavy rainfall.
