Yep, I know Springtime is nice...flowers start blooming...grass gets green...leaves come out...but severe weather often forms - tornadoes. Sure there is a minor Fall severe weather "season", but it is usually not as strong as the Spring's. After a Summer of heat & brutal humidity, there is something special about those first early fronts that take the muggies away. The fronts are coming early this year with an even stronger front expected for next weekend. Besides the obvious benefits...it feels good...cooler & drier air kills the tropical process resulting in little, if any, chance for hurricane activity in the NORTHERN GULF in October or November. Get out and enjoy this weekend as it doesn't get any better.
Tropical Storm Kyle is heading northward well off the east coast of the U.S. An area of disturbed weather is over the Yucatan and will spread some clouds & rain across Florida by late in the weekend. With such dry air across us and the Northern Gulf, we have nothing to worry about from this system.

Isn't it wonderful to say..we have nothing to be concerned about..none of us had another event in us this year....we can now welcome fall...get the pumpkins out soon!..:)
I agree! Fall is the best season. Football season, cool weather, fall colors, the "soon to be" end to hurricane season. Fall rocks!
