October Arrives Cooler...

Dr. Gray's forecast team came out with their monthly hurricane forecast update today and they're calling for 3 more named storms & one intense hurricane yet to come this month. Fortunately for us, October historically keeps most tropical systems away from us. With north winds bringing in cooler air tonight, the pattern has begun and the deeper we get into this month, the less likely we will see any tropical problems. Our current cool down will last into Friday with warmer air returning along with the Gulf muggies over the weekend. With 11 straight days without rain, it appears our chances to get wet finally increase next week.

Yes its been nice out...lower humidity and lower temps are feeling nice...but, I am still waiting for that first front that bring 20-30 mph winds and bring a real chill in the air...

Still for late September early October these fronts have been nice...

I saw where you said we will have some wet weather next week...will that linger or will the dry weather continue....you know the cuchon is coming up!!!
