Fronts Keep Coming...More Severe Storms?
We remain in a very progressive (fast moving) upper air pattern through the weekend into next week. That means about every 3-4 days we see a cold front move thru bringing showers & T-Storms and a threat for some severe weather. Thursdays storms should be limited by a lack of deep Gulf moisture, but we do expect some storms to develop ahead of the cold front. Greatest chance for severe storms will be to our north and east. during the afternoon hours of maximum heating. This front will bring cooler and drier air back for Friday & Saturday before the next front barrels thru on Sunday with a repeat scenario for severe storms. That front will pull down a colder air mass for the beginning of next week bringing back the need for sweaters & jackets ! Don't complain...in another 4-6 weeks some of us will be whining that "it's too hot".
