Disturbance Hasn't Developed...Yet

Satellite loops continue to indicate no development/organization of the tropical wave nearing the Yucatan. NHC down graded the probability of development from medium to low this evening. The reason nothing is happening is the lack of any surface low pressure. T-Storms flare up and then died off with no concentration or consistency. There is still time that something will form as this area of unsettled weather will move into the warm waters of the southern Gulf tomorrow. We continue to be protected by an east to NE flow across the northern Gulf. This would steer any storm that might form well to our south and west. In addition, another east coast trough is forecasted to arrive by Tuesday bringing another cold front to us. If the Caribbean disturbance is slow to move, it could be picked up by the eastern trough and turn all it's rains eastward in central & south Florida.
