Radars are lighting up along the Texas coast just south of Houston and most model runs bring this weather across Louisiana after midnight into mid to late afternoon on Saturday. How much rain will depend on the track of the Gulf low that is predicted to develop. VIPIR keeps the center far south with the heaviest rainfall off our coast. Some of the other models bring the low closer to the mouth of the river. That would spread heavier rainfall over us. Bottom line...with 11 days left in the month, it's unlikely that our current 6th driest November (.37") will hold up. In fact with 1-2" possible, we'll drop out of the top ten driest.
This same system will move thru Tampa Saturday night into Sunday. It appears most of the rain will be east of Tampa before the Saint's game on Sunday. Go Saints !!!
