Near Freezing Before Clouds Arrive...
High clouds are streaking across Texas towards Louisiana, but will they arrive in time to prevent temperatures from dipping below freezing? NWS says NS will have a light freeze (28-32) with the SS staying mid-upper 30s. I'm thinking 33-27 with widespread frost south of Lake P. Should not be a big deal except for some plants & pets. A warming trend begins tomorrow that will last well into next week. We'll have several opportinities for showers with the best chances on Wednesday ahead of our next cold front. A big snowstorm will move across the central plains into the Great Lakes & Ohio Valley with the 1st significant accumulations since last season. Any snow in D. C. should be long gone before gametime Sunday as skies should clear with temps 40-45. Go Saints. 12-0! FOX 8 at Noon.

Bob you were correct in your snow forecast, none for our area. Good call! Next time huh.
I wished I would have went to the Rummel High School Football Game. The played in Lafayette and looking at it on TV it looked like they were playing in Green Bay. I decided I didnt want to drive 2 hrs to the game on a Friday afternoon...
Funny how close the snow did come to us...When you think Lafayette being about 120 away and then the snow on the northshore as well...so maybe next time...
Also the snowfall did come at night...seems when it has snowed here its been falling during the daylight..so that was different!
Bob you sure are confident in a big blow-out Saints victory. I think its going to be closer than that...although I would love to see a route of the Redskins. They need to be in sync for the end stretch run here.
I just have this feeling the Redskins will play them closer and then maybe the Saints will have a little of a let down coming off a big game on Monday Night.
Saints 37 Redskins 24
Come on snow...Gooooo Saints
UK Scientists getting ready to release 1000 yrs of data which they say will without a doubt show the earth is warming.
Saints all the way! Saints go all the way! I believe!
BTW... Fantastic job Bob on your forecast for no snow on the South Shore,
Get rid of this freezing nonsense. Heya what about that win??! Saints did alright and then spectacular with one of those rare NFL opportunities. Awesome all the way around. Now I know the UK climatologists are batty. 1,000 years of e-mails?? Even I know the internet is only about 200 years old.
