Where oh Where is 80 Degrees?

Hard to believe, but it's been nearly 5 months since we have been 80 or above. Looking at the next 5-8 days, there appears to be very little opportunities for highs to get that warm as our train of southern tracking storm systems continues. However, if you believe long range models, a big ridge will build over the south and east coast finally bringing highs into the 80s the 1st week in April.

In the short term, south winds have brought back the Gulf muggies and Wednesday will not only be warmer, but will feel warmer due to the higher humidity. Brisk SE winds will gust about 20 mph during the PM but we are expecting no rain. Thursday will see a Pacific cold front move thru with the time of arrival being around midday. Showers will be ahead of the front with clearing skies for the PM. Friday will be comfy cooler with a brief warm up starting on Saturday. Another weak front flys thru Sat. nite into early Sunday with most of the showers over by dawn.

Had my 1st crawfish today. Ummmm dey were good Cher!

Dying for some crawfish but still too expensive....Warmer weather the next few days may bring the little buggers out of their holes and bring down the prices.

Well Bob I hope you ate more than just one....

I am like you Nashette, I am dying for some crawdaddies....

As much as I like this cool weather, I am going to need a bunch of 80 degree days to get to go swimming, so I guess we need to start sometime.
