Too Hot Too Soon?

Today was the 5th day in a row above 90, the 7th so far this month. Does that mean this will be a brutally hot summer? Global Warming? Not necessarily. Look at last summer. June was very hot (topped 100 several times), but July & August were mainly upper 80s to lower 90s. It's all about patterns/cycles. If we get locked into a large upper ridge over the Southeast, then we will have a brutally hot & long summer. But there are signs that the east coast trough is coming back and that might even bring us a weak June cool front. What will really keep us cool, err less hot is our daily T-Storms like we had around today. Unfortunately they didn't develop soon enough nor cover enough of us as highs flirted with records. Just me, but I can take the heat better than I can take the cold.

Can't believe I still get folks asking me about outdoor weddings at this time of the year. What are they thinking? Spotty daily showers plus oppressive temperatures and humidity...wanna outdoor wedding? Plan it for April or later in October. Your guests will thank you !

Yep its been hot and my pool temp is at 82 degrees...great swimming temp....I made a major error in I was vacuuming my pool to waste on Sunday and forgot to put it back on Filter...I came home yesterday to find my pool drained right blow the skimmer...Luckily the motor did not burn up.

Getting back to your last post....

Bob, you were close, okay right on the money..listening to Shawn Hannity's radio show today,
I didn't catch the woman's name(some Washington appointee,) but she started blaming Dick Cheney and Haliburton for dereguluting the oil industry when they were i office...(amazing huh)

Just think guys...If the way the government is handling this oil spill imagine how they are going to handle our healthcare when they take it over...
