No Hurricanes,No Typhoons, Na Da...

Hard to believe we're approaching the most active time of the year for tropical activity and WORLDWIDE, there is nothing...not in the Pacific, not in the Indian Ocean and not in the Atlantic. Hummm...what is going on? I know sunspot activity remains low, but EVERYONE predicted way above normal/average tropical activity. Yea, I know we still have August, September and half of October, but each day that gones by means one day closer to cold fronts and Fall ! We still have plenty of time to make those numbers predicted by the alarmists, err... I mean experts, but tonight all is quiet.

In the short term, high pressure is expected to build over us the next 2 days limiting our shower chances to slim and none. That will result in high temps. in the mid to upper 90s.

Always said the first day of summer is the first day toward the last day of summer...just think after June 21/22...the days start getting shorter...yeah it might be only a minute or so, but you definitely start to notice it if you are like me and start cutting grass at 7PM....it getting darker sooner..

Bob your getting me all excited...cold fronts...woohoo...yeah I know a few months away...but it would be nice to see an August and September cool front..

Good to see all is quiet in the tropics and still have my fingers cross for Nashette that she gets to enjoy her cruise!!!!

Thank you so much for your kind thoughts on my cruise...I sure hope everything stays quiet. Have never cruised in the summertime. Hope it won't be a bad decision.

WSI Corp., according to Reuters, has revised its forecast of the total number of storms downward, but only slightly, and still expects an extremely active year and also says that the the east coast from the Carolinas northward is "twice as likely as normal" to be struck this year and as likely to be struck as the gulf coast.
