Will it be Nicole ?

NHC this afternoon said TD 16 has formed south of Cuba. An AF Hurricane Hunter plane was unable to find any winds above 25 mph around the "center" and tonight NHC says there may be multiple centers circulating around/within a large area of low pressure. The window of opportunity to strengthen is small as any center will pass over Cuba tonight and then has only 90 miles of open water before reaching South Florida Wednesday PM. Looking at satellite loops, it appears to be more like a winter/sub-tropical system than a pure summer tropical storm. Regardless, whatever develops is not coming here as we remain protected by a deep east coast trough that is bringing a delightfully dry airmass with comfy cool nights and sunny, warm days. Another stronger cold front will arrive early on Sunday keeping us protected from any tropical activity well into next week.

A little warm up before another cool front on Sunday....Monday and Tuesday of next week look delightful.... BOB, I do believe I hear that fat lady singing! ONLY REAL..I do think the pool days are coming to a sharp close for the season... Now, lets get ready to put up those fall decorations and get that firewood ready!
