As I mentioned last night, there is an obvious area of low pressure in the Caribbean south of the Cayman Islands. NHC has now indicated this has a "high" chance of becoming our next named storm. We remain protected with swift west winds over the Gulf so this system is not going to be our concern...unless you're heading down into the Caribbean.
Some much needed rainfall developed along a weak front this afternoon, but the rain on radar is quickly fading out tonight. We could see a few showers develop tomorrow, but the chances remain less than 30%. no real cold air is in sight for the next 7-10 days.

Got a little rain.. Not enough for the fall garden though. Gotta keep da sprinkler going for a few more days. Bob where ya be?
