Tomas the End?

The countdown clock on this web site reads 22 days left, but a look at the tropics tonight finds such hostile upper shearing that one wonders if we are finished at 19 named storms? If that proves true, cudos to our FOX 8 Weather intern Dylan who "predicted " 19 named storms way back in April BEFORE Dr. Gray or NOAA came out with their forecasts. Since he is only 16 years old, we've decided to change his nickname from "Boy Wonder" to "Genius"! Way to go Dylan !

The Northshore's growing season came to an end over the weekend as many areas dipped below 32 degrees. We're about 2-3 weeks away from the average or normal first freeze date on the Southshore. It won't happen this week as we'll see a warm up back into the 70s until our next front arrives late Friday or early on Saturday. This has really been an incredible stretch of Fall weather that started the last week in September and will continue thru most of this week.
