After a cold December(8th coldest), January warmed briefly before the cold pattern has returned. It's not record cold, but the next several nights will see freezes on both sides of the Lake. This cold snap will be like the one back in December where Slidell dipped to 22 and Kenner reached 27. We won't see a warm up until the weekend, but it won't last very long as more cold is coming for next week. Fortunately, I see no moisture around while we're in the freezing temperatures.

There has been snow flurries in pine which is close to Franklinton,la all night since 7
How can you say Dec was the 8th coldest when you also say records of temps are flawed?
Good to hear from you CAVEMAN. I thought you might not come out again until Spring.
I noticed you dodged the question...
