Let the Ride Begin...
Tuesday will begin Spring-like, windy & warm as highs should reach 70-75. There may be a few morning showers, but coverage will increase after the noon hour with a slight risk for strong storms between 2-5 PM. Colder air arrives by dark and temps will quickly fall into the 40s by midnight, 30s before dawn. Wednesday will be dry but cold staying in the 40s. A wave forms on the front down in the Gulf and moisture will over run the cold surface air making for some interesting weather nearby. There could be widespread sleet develop Thursday into Friday depending on the track of the Gulf Low. If it forms well to our south, we could see enough cold air here for that rain/sleet mixture. If the low forms closer to us, we'll just stay in a cold rain. Either way, Thursday & Friday look UGLY. We will warm back up by the end of the weekend, but we'll have to endure 4-5 chilly days first. Compared to what will happen up north, we will be the lucky ones.
