Storms Coming Late Tues-Wed. ?
Our best rain chances in nearly 3 weeks appear to be coming for late Tuesday into midday on Wednesday courtesy of a fast moving upper disturbance in the southern jet stream. Yesterday's weak cold front will return northward during the day on Tuesday bringing back the Gulf muggies and warmer air. Our best chances for strong storms appear to be between 3 AM and 7 AM on Wednesday morning, just in time to fould up morning drive time. Since we have gone 19 days without rain, this would be welcome moisture for all the new spring plants. A stronger surge of cold air will arrive before daybreak on Friday. Highs could struggle to get out of the 60s if clouds linger. Keep those sweaters handy.
