Stormy Night...
Wow, what a day! And more storms are coming. Just shows you what happens when warm air comes back. Warm air has the capacity to hold more water vapor(moisture) and that is why we see such excessive rain totals during the warmer months of the year. 2-3 inches fell in about an hour causing widespread street flooding and another 2-3 inches could follow before daybreak. The big story today was the large amount of hail along with some damaging high winds. Hope you have your weather radios on and just know FOX 8 will be doing hourly updates all night. Much better weather returns for the weekend.

I saw some of the large hail on fox 8 last night... There had to be some damaged vehicles/homes that we don't know about. I would hate to be caught outside when that stuff is coming down..
