Major Pattern Change Coming...

Just when you thought Summer was here for good...noooooooo, Mother Nature is going to give us another (perhaps last?) good feel airmass for the weekend. As the cold front pushes across the state on Friday, that will be our best chance to break our current (37 days) dry spell. We'll flirt with 90 again today and Thursday but may stay in the 70s for highs Sunday-Tuesday of next week. The big upper ridge that is keeping us warm and dry will be replaced by an unusually deep east coast trough for the weekend. Night time lows could dip into the 50s by Sunday morning!

Hey Bob,
Watched your depiction of a cubic foot last nite. Do the viewers a favor with some grade school math. One cubic foot = 7.48 gallons. People are more familiar with gallons and the bigger number looks more impressive. Do the math.

Hey Bob,

I did some research on the great flood of June, 1811. Six months later a horrific earthquake followed. Researchers, in CA, are studying the correlation of water weight on flood planes and earthquakes. Hmmmmmm
