After a spectacular day, it's another night of comfy cool air that will find some 40s on the North Shore and 50s away from Lake P. on the South Shore. This October feel will only last into Friday as humidity will return big time on Saturday and Sunday. With highs approaching 90 early next week, we'll be back to feeling Summer-like. A weak cold front could increase our rain chances by Wednesday, but unless the front stalls, we are not expecting any widespread rains.
If you are going to the JazzFest or Air Show this weekend remember to wear a hat and use lots of sunscreen. It takes less than an hour for fair skinned people to start developing a sunburn so use precautions.

178 confirmed tornadoes from that big outbreak last week. 329 plus deaths confirmed, estimated to be serveral billions in Alabama alone in damage... now can we say it was "unprecedented"?
Oh yeah at least two torandoes were EF5's, prior the this storm there had only been two recorded since they began using the new scale over 4 years ago.
My original statement stands. How could TWC say "unprecedented" when it was still going on? It was unprecedented in terms of total numbers and for certain states, but not in the number of F4s or F5s or in the highest number of dead...and that came only after several days of research by NWS. Picky, picky.
