Luck of Da Irish & Italians...

With more parades scheduled this weekend, the best forecast is for it to be warm & dry. According to the recent computer guidance, a large upper level ridge will develop over the SE & build northward towards the Ohio Valley. Louisiana will be right under that ridge meaning we'll be warm (80+) and mostly dry into the middle of next week. This early warmth is resulting in high pollen counts making life miserable for many people with allergies as everything (trees, grasses, flowers) is blooming. Sometimes when we see these early season warm spells, the weather goes to the opposite extremes the following month. Don't be surprised to see the 1st 2 weeks in April to be cooler than those in March.
