Unlike folks up north, where the cold has arrived early and is not likely to let up until March, we southerners know our chill usually doesn’t last too long. This current cool down will fortunately be brief as milder air returns by midday on Thursday and 70+ for Friday thru Monday. The next 2 mornings will be cold with a light freeze possible north of the Lake. If you’re dressed for it, the chill will really feel invigorating as it’s very dry air. The muggies & a Spring-like feel will be back for this weekend.
Really shameful how some meteorologists/climatologists are trying to connect the Philippines’ Hurricane/typhoon to climate change. There is no connection. Typhoons & Hurricanes are Nature’s way of transferring the heat from the Tropics northward to the Pole. This was NOT the strongest MEASURED Typhoon ever. Check the ground truth. No station reported winds greater than 150 mph. Ground stations in Camille failed at 190 MPH.
