Coldest, Getting Colder...

As one would expect, the deeper we get into November, the colder the fronts become.  Morning lows on Friday north of Lake P. could dip into the upper 30s for the 1st time this season.   With the Lake water still 65-70, the South Shore will not be as cold.  However, models are indicating that next week the east coast trough will be deeper dragging down even colder air to the Gulf Coast with some freezing temps. north of the Lake by Thursday morning.  In addition, models indicate a heavy snowstorm could hit the Ohio Valley !  Yikes!

In the short term, Friday will be our coldest day with a slow moderation through the weekend.  I see no trigger to produce any rain chances for the next 7-10 days so our focus will be on whether next week’s cold will be as advertized.  Stay tuned!
