Spring-Like, Mostly Dry Weekend

Our early week cool spell is long gone replaced by a moist flow of warmer air from the Gulf. An upper disturbance triggered this morning’s showers but I don’t see anything that should produce more showers on Saturday.  We’ll start out gloomy with low clouds & fog, but I’m expecting some sunny breaks during the day that should allow temps to climb near 80.  Same story on Sunday, but it now looks like the showers ahead of the next front will stay well north of Lake P. so we’ll have great weather for tailgating.   The cold front arrives early on Monday with some showers followed by cooler and drier air for Tuesday & Wednesday.  This front is not as cold as last week’s front, however there are signs that late next week we’ll see a stronger cold front return to the Gulf South.  Stay tuned!
