After a mostly cold pattern the last 2 weeks, a huge warm up is coming for the next 4-5 days that will have us shedding the coats for shorts during the daylight hours. We could even approach 80 Friday & Saturday before more cold arrives…just in time for Christmas. Will we 1) be cold enough and 2) have enough moisture linger to give us any chance for the White Stuff? It will depend IF the next east coast trough deepens down to the Gulf Coast to allow the cold air to push offshore and IF the “axis” of the trough stays to our west allowing a Gulf Low to form? Way too early to try and guess that far out, but I like to get at least give us a chance at this time of the year. Stay tuned!
In the short term, enjoy the quiet of Tuesday before the winds start cranking off the Gulf late Wednesday lasting thru Saturday.
