While The Weather Channel continues to show us model after model run developing low pressure east of Florida, I’m already suffering from Tropical Fatigue! I just don’t like the idea of tracking something that hasn’t even formed yet. I’m pretty confident NHC will eventually name this system “sub-tropical Storm Ana” later this week, but with such a hostile environment (wind shear) over it, I don’t expect it to do much more than for making some interesting surf scenes for Jim Cantore !
Locally, we are between a system over the Rockies & central plains and the Florida low so our weather is rather quiet. Rain chances should stay low through the weekend with only a few spotty daily showers. Better rain chances arrive late Monday into Tuesday when a weak front nears.
