Obviously, the biggest event is coming. No not the Eclipse tomorrow, but the Saint’s preseason game tonight. Can the Saint’s break a 10 game preseason losing streak? Can they stop the “culture of losing” in preseason that has resulted in slow starts the past 3 regular seasons? Will Drew Play? Or how about Adrian? Preseason is about finding out the unknown, who can play & who needs to look elsewhere? Kind of like the Tropics tonight. Will Harvey return to form and become a storm again? Will the well-defined circulation approaching the Bahamas finally start to develop as it goes over the Gulf Stream? And will the circulation way out in the Atlantic ever do anything? Only time will give us answers. Stay tuned!
Locally, our much needed dry spell continues as a dry slot rotates around a huge upper low moving westward over the central Gulf. I suspect we’ll see slightly better rain coverage on Monday, but not enough to ruin our view of the eclipse. Here it’s supposed to be about 75% sun coverage and I don’t think you’ll even notice it if you’re outside between 12-2 PM. Best way to watch it is on TV where coverage will be extensive on every network. Time to watch the Saint’s on FOX 8 and get some answers.
