Florence Flooding Continues...

The center of Florence is approaching Columbia, SC, but part of her rotation remains over water.  She has become an east side loaded storm with the heaviest rainfall east & north of the center.  Since forward motion is less than 5 mph, we have many more days to watch Florence.  Her circulation is bringing drier air to us and that will continue into next week.  With few clouds & showers, our highs are near records with today reaching 96.  I see no signs of a cold front during the next 10-14 days.   We’ll have to wait until October before a real front plows though.    The remains of Isaac are struggling over the central Caribbean and only one model develops it next week projecting it across the southern Gulf into the Texas coast.  It should not be our concern.

After LSU’s exciting win, A Saints victory will make it a great weekend.  Who Dat!  Stay tuned!

I’m still having problems posting on my FOX 8 Facebook pages.
