Nothing new to report on the weather scene as the front pushed on schedule with generally less than a half inch of rain. Some severe weather was reported across the Lake but that was isolated and not widespread.. Temperatures are cooling down as predicted and our coldest night will be on Monday morning with the North Shore 27-31 with 32-36 South of Lake P. We'll see a quick warm Monday into Tuesday before our next front plows through late Wednesday.
But let's get to the important stuff. The Saints know they should have gone to the Super Bowl last year and not the Eagles. We had Minnesota beat until the missed tackle on the final play. We have another opportunity on Sunday to go back to the big dance IF we can beat the Rams. Am I expecting a cakewalk? Absolutely not since the Rams had the second best record next to us. They are very good, but do I take Drew Brees over Rookie Goff ? I think I'll go with experience. The key for me will be our offensive line. Can they keep Drew protected? If so, we score more points & win the game. Are we cocky? Nope, just confident that we can do our job & finish strong. Saints 35 Rams 31. Great game...great win. Who Dat!
