I could be like most sore losers and complain that we were robbed by the refs...and that's exactly what I will do. We were robbed! In golf, they call it a "no-brainer", a putt so short you cannot miss. This call was a "no-brainer", so obvious that everyone watching coast to coast & border to border saw it. In fact, if not pass interference (which it was), it should have been a personal foul for targeting to the head of a defenseless receiver. No, you don't want officials to decide who wins a game, but not making an obvious penalty call allowed the Rams to stay in the game. I do give the Rams credit for making the plays at the end, but they should not have been given any chance to win. This will take a long time to get over...for the coaches & players and, most importantly, for the fans. Shame on the NFL for not being set up to review a crucial call at the end of a game.
Weather-wise, there will be a freeze in many areas tonight. A warm up starts on Tuesday that will continue into Wednesday before our next front plows through. Some showers will be along the front and it won't be a real strong cool down. Then again, after what we just watched, does anyone really care about the weather?
