Though Shocking, The Cooldown Will Be Brief...

Today's high reached 83 while most of Sunday will be 25-30 degrees colder with wind.  That will require us to switch back from shorts to sweaters & jackets/coats.  At this time of the year, the chill never lasts very long as our warm up (near 70) begins on Tuesday with 75-80 Wed-Friday.  Look for some much need rain with the front after midnight and into early on Sunday, but amounts should only be around .50" or less.   The next rain chance will come next Friday ahead of another cold front.  It's far to early to gage how strong that system will be.  So far I have been enjoying our recent stretch of comfy cool nights and mild to warm days.  We had a brief warm up and return of the muggies, but cooler and drier air will return for much of next week.   Just don't be shocked when you go out for the paper or off to Church tomorrow morning.   Mother Nature is going to give us a slap on the cheek to let us know we still have some cool spells coming.  Don't think any of us are ready to go back into our daily 90s?   That's coming but not until mid to late May.  Stay tuned!
