Windy & Warm, then Cold & Ugly...

Today was 12 degrees cooler than yesterday's record breaking 85, but the warmth is coming back ahead of a strong surface storm coming out of the Rockies.  Colorado is likely to see blizzard conditions tomorrow while some severe storm break out in the Plains.   We should be back 80+ for Wednesday & Thursday before a cold front staggers through for late Thursday into Friday.   The threat for severe weather should once again be farther to our north.    Some over running rain could break out making for a dismal Friday into early on Saturday.  Most of the weekend looks dry but much cooler with highs upper 50s to lower 60s.   The core of the cold air will stay well to our north and a warm up returns for early next week.

Was out fishing with Captain Hylton and first mate Johnny today.   It was breezy & chilly, but we caught a decent amount of fish, especially since the water clarity was not the best.   The real Spring trout bite begins next month when the shrimp start moving back inside.   Follow the bait & find the fish.  Stay tuned!
