It's The Humidity, Stupid...

When someone asks me what makes our summer heat so difficult to endure, I often want to answer the way James Carville replied during the election of Bill Clinton..."It's the economy, stupid!"   After being outside today I thought of that phrase explaining why the air felt so good.   It was the LACK of humidity that gave us the good feel air.    Wednesday should be a little warmer and there will be a slight increase in low level moisture, but it will be another good feel air day.   Things rapidly change by Thursday and we won't see that dry feeling return until our next front arrives next Tuesday.   Showers and T-Storms are expected to break out ahead of an upper disturbance on Thursday, but I agree with what David said this evening...that the system coming on Sunday appears to be stronger and at a lower latitude to trigger some severe storms Sunday night.   SPC has us in a marginal (lowest) risk for storms on Thursday , but the greater danger comes late on Sunday.   The 2 major changes coming are 1) a warm up putting us to 80+ for this weekend and 2) a daily shower threat due to increased humidity, surface heating and several upper disturbances.   All in all, Wednesday will be the best day for awhile as the muggies are coming back.   Stay tuned!
