Storms Still Coming...
Today actually turned out to be a nice day as my afternoon walk through City park found the place packed with families and young people. The cloud cover and brisk SE winds made it feel quite comfortable. Radar is showing the well advertised storms to our west and they will arrive mainly after dark. SPC still believes we have a slight risk for several strong storms this evening and over night, but the main threat appears to be heavy rainfall of 2-3" . This system is fairly progressive (moving) and it should be through by 3-4 AM. NWS is saying some showers could linger on Monday, but any severe threat will come tonight. There is no cold air behind this system with highs Monday & Tuesday 75-80, and 80-85 Wed-Friday. Once we get through tonight and the upper system pulls out by Tuesday, the rest of the week looks terrific. Stay tuned!
