Let The Counting Begin...

Today was our first 90 degree day which was, historically, about on schedule.  With an upper ridge building over us for the next 5-7 days, we're likely to see highs creep into the low to mid 90s.  I thought with the breeze we had today, 90 degrees didn't feel that bad.  As we get into the weekend and winds diminish, I expect most of us will whine that it's too hot.  Get use to it as the only relief will come from daily daytime heating showers and & T-Storms.  With the upper high over us, rain chances will stay near zero well into next week.

I often find it amazing how the weather works.  Lately we are locked into an upper pattern that has a tough over the Rockies and a ridge over the Southeast.  That has been the case for the last 7 days and it's unlikely to change until mid-late next week.  For us it means a dry but hot Memorial Day weekend.  For many others, it means way too cold and way too wet.  Changes will come as they always do.  Stay tuned!
