Sure Looks Like a TD in Western Gulf...

NHC often is quick to jump on an early season swirl of low pressure and make it a named storm.  I wonder why they are taking their time with the current circulation over the western Gulf, especially when computer models bring such heavy rains(10-20"+) into coastal Texas including Houston.  David just pointed out the circulation at 10 pm so don't be surprised if  we have a TD or even a Tropical Storm tomorrow morning.

My house got about 12 drops of rain today, but I'm basically oh for September.  There could be a stray shower on Tuesday, but we'll just basically stay hot & dry.  Today's clouds kept us below 90 for the 1st time in 23 days...and it felt good!

Hurricane Humberto is the kind of storm we like...going out to sea.  He'll brush Bermuda, but he'll draw down some drier air on his backside that could stagger through us as a "backdoor" front on Thursday.  A REAL cool front will come late NEXT week.  Patience Gang.  Stay tune!
