Today's high(82) missed tying the record (83) by one degree, but get ready for the Polar express. Tuesday's high will occur at midnight with the daylight highs never getting out of the 40s with strong north winds making it feel like the 30s. Tomorrow night a freeze warning is up for the North Shore where mid to upper 20s are likely. The South Shore will stay above freezing , but not by much. We will go from near record warmth to near record cold in only 36-48 hours. Extensive clouds cover the front and we probably won't see much sunshine on Tuesday. Some showers are ahead of the front with more rain behind the front with some snow/sleet back in Texas and farther to our north.
Watching Bruce at 4 pm, he showed the 24 hour temp. drop behind the front of 40-50 degrees!
You'll need the Winter weather gear for the next 2 days. This Arctic plunge is coming out of Canada where most stations are below freezing and many below zero.
I'm waiting for the Global Warming Alarmists to connect this Arctic outbreak to Climate Change. Weather extremes you know! Stay tuned!
