Gloomy Gulf Gotcha...

What an ugly Thursday with temps 50-55 & some light drizzle falling from a low cloud deck.  We really got hosed as just to our west BTR saw some sun & temps shot to 60.  Lake Charles & Lafayette boomed into the mid 60s with more sunshine.

The core of the current cold spell has retreated farther north and even up in Canada, the super cold has moderated somewhat.

We should get back into some sunshine for Friday into Sunday with a warming trend that could have us back into the 70s through Monday.  Our next front will reach us late Monday into Tuesday, but I don't see any major polar outbreak right on through Christmas.  Stay tuned!
