If We Could Turn Back Time...

I've been to many concerts lately (Elton John, Michael Buble, Tony Bennett), but none had the energy of last night. (Elton was close)

Aside from being 40 minutes late (9:40) on stage, the "old Lady" (73) can still sing.  It was quite the Las Vegas production with an ensemble of 8-10 dancers who were awesome.    It was brilliant the way she worked in her early hits with Sonny with his images singing up on the big screen behind her.  I've been to several concerts of performers in their 60s & 70s+ who just can't hit the notes like they did in their youth, but Cher still can!  She earned every penny last night.  Well worth the cost of admission.  Bravo Cher!

Finally the sun was back today, but not for all as the low clouds/fog lingered over Lake P. and over the tidal lakes to or east.

Even though the sun angle is about as low as it ever gets for the next 2-3 weeks, sunshine sure makes a difference temperature-wise.
We will be up in the 70s on Sunday and perhaps 80+ on Monday before our next cold front arrives Monday night into Tuesday.   The bitter cold remains bottled up in Canada, but a chunk of it will follow Tuesday's front bringing near freezing temps to the North Shore for Wed-Thursday morning.  The core of the cold will stay north and east of us and I don't see a real Polar outbreak here until well after Christmas.

You can see how most of the northern states are covered by clouds as that is where the active storm track is.  In fact, there will be a snow storm move out of the Rockies and Plains and head to the east coast causing some travel woes Monday through Wednesday.   SPC even puts a slight chance for a strong T-Storm in the warm air sector on Monday for areas mainly to our north.  Good thing we have a dome stadium as Monday night could be stormy here for our Saints.  Stay tuned!
