2020 Off to a Yummy Start...

What better way to begin the New Year than enjoying the Mile High Pie at Jack Rose's in the Pontchartrain Hotel.
We saw some sunshine today, but the next several days will see a river of moisture flow over us from the tropical Pacific.    With the Gulf providing additional moisture (fuel supply), there will be a heavy rain threat for much of the South.  RIGHT NOW, models keep the heaviest rains to our north & west, but SPC has upper us into the slight risk category for strong storms Thursday night into Friday.

It'll feel Spring-like on Thursday before a cold front gets us back more January-like for Friday through Sunday.   This will not be a real blast of Arctic air as the super cold remains bottled up in Northern Canada.

Game time for our game in Green Bay (gotta beat Vikings first!) next week is 5:40 PM.   Normal temps for them in January are in the 20s so today's 32 felt balmy.  David Bernard showed a graphic that indicated Wisconsin will not see any super cold air, but it could turn stormy (snow/rain) depending on the timing for next weekend.   First things first.  Focus on Minnesota.  Who Dat!
