As the warm air surges northward, a large area of snow is falling on the backside of the cold air. This is not a big storm by past March standards, but it is making travel difficult for many as it heads towards the East coast. There is another upper storm approaching California, but the pattern remains in place that will keep that system to our north.
It still looks like the upper pattern will gradually break down allowing for several cool fronts late this month into early April. We are nearing the end of our time for freeze threats , but I'm holding out for at least a couple of nice fronts before the real heat of summer arrives.
After lots of low clouds made this morning gloomy, most of the clouds lifted and dissipated except of a patch out over the Lake and over N.O. East. We all know these are difficult times for many and I close with a thought from my wife Brenda. Stay tuned!

During this period of quarantine and our facing the unknown, I think about the 15,000 children per year diagnosed with cancer and embark upon their unknown every day. Working with Caps for Kids has shown me the smiles brought to the faces and hearts of these children when they receive their cap signed by their favorite celebrity “CAPHero!”
Caps for Kids works with over 150 children oncology hospitals throughout the U.S. spreading joy to these children with cancer.
Many thanks to all our CAPHeroes and thank you for visiting capsforkids.org to see how you can brighten a child’s life!!
