As we approach the one year anniversary of the passing of Nancy Parker last August, FOX 8 did a wonderful pictorial remembrance on their noon newscast. She made me a better person for knowing her and her family.
Her husband Glynn, their children & close knit families are enduring a difficult grief journey and they remain in my prayers.
As weak waves continue to move off of Africa, the only named sorm right now is Josephine who continues to struggle with wind shear. Nothing has changed regarding the future track as it will stay well east of the U.S. It appears the next named storm will also miss the U.S.
NHC has increased to 70% the chances for development well off our east coast. I like this trend that we're seeing where storms form/re curve east of the U.S. Let's hope that continues.
Same old surface map as the South stays hot & humid with spotty storms. Some big boomers are developing over SE LA/MS this afternoon bringing some folks relief from the heat.
