Another Cold Front Coming, But Not a Whopper...

South winds started the process of bringing back the muggies to SE LA, but they won't stay around very long.  Another cold front will arrive during the day on Sunday with cooler and drier air filtering in behind it.  This is not a strong front, but it should get us back to more seasonal/normal temperatures with lower humidity for Monday through Wednesday.

With low level moisture increasing, there could be some brief showers along the front during the midday hours on Sunday.  Satellite views show clouds streets aligning with the surface wind flow.

There's some good news for the Western states,  A river of moisture should bring some much needed rain/snow to many locations during the next 5-7 days.

Finally, since many of you said you don't give one Iota (LOL!), I won't spend much time talking about something that won't affect us.

Iota is becoming better organized and is predicted to become a Cat. 3 before landfall.  Sad news for the countries of Honduras & Nicaragua.  Time to restart your prayer lines for those folks.  Enjoy a warm Sunday as cooler air is coming back.  Stay tuned!
