Soggy Saturday Will Linger Into Soggy Sunday...

You can fall into the trap of feeling sorry for yourself or look at how much better you have versus others.  I'd feel badly if I was paying $400/night for a beachfront condo along the AL/FL beaches and you have little or no sunshine.  We still have a "cut off" upper low over Texas keeping us on the moist side so our rain chances will stay above normal into Monday.

The Texas upper low is moving  so there is an end to our rainy pattern.

We should see fewer showers by Tuesday through next Friday and that should result in hotter daytime highs.

The surface weather map has the Bermuda high off the east coast with the showers over the SE mainly due to the Texas upper low and daytime heating.  Note how much hotter it is to our north where sunshine has highs approaching 100 degrees.

We still have some lingering showers around this afternoon and that is keeping temps mainly in the 70s.  It will not rain all the time on Sunday, but we still expect above normal shower chances.

Look at the bright side.  the first week of the 2021 Hurricane Season will end on a quiet note.  All the activity is in the eastern Pacific and I'd like that to continue.  Stay tumed!
