Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow...

All you snow and cold air geeks are licking your chops as an early season snow storm is whitening the Rockies.  It's really cold out West and you know it's only a matter of time before we get into sweater weather.

We still have another 3 days in the 80s before the cooler air reaches us so don't put away the shorts & tank tops yet.

This won't be a drastic front as the core of the cold air will slide well to our north.  However, the much drier air will allow for cooler nights and great feeling days.

In the short term (2-3 days) we'll stay almost hot and summer-like.  The Tropics remain shut down and should stay that way for the next 10-14 days.

Locally, we saw some clouds, but also enough sunshine to place temps back into the mid to upper 80s.  I have total respect for all the roofers working through the heat to repair/restore those of us that suffered roof damage from Ida.  A special shout out to Eric at Perdomo Roofing for working me into their schedule.  My house and yard will be back close to normal only 6 weeks after the Hurricane.  I know many of you will continue to deal with repairs for weeks and months.  Our prayers are with you to stay patient as we build back stronger than before.  Stay tuned!
