Friday will still have southerly winds bringing in the Gulf Muggies, but behind the front on Saturday and Sunday, northerly breezes will sweep away the low level moisture dropping dew points into the 40s & 50s.
Yea, it really feels summer-like, but that front will bring us much needed relief. I don't expect much rain with this front and we'll have no rain for most of next week.
I expect we'll have little to talk about once this new airmass arrives. The Tropics remain shut down and it's unlikely we'll see another named storm during the next 10-14 days. The only thing NHC is watching is a weak low over the Atlantic, but upper level shear is very strong so development chances are slim.
Finally, most fires in California are out with two exceptions (circles). Their rainy season should arrive during the next 2 weeks. There was a question about my Crown of Thorns and did it survive the hurricane?
