Our mid November highs are in the lower 70s and we should be near or above that for most of this week. Our current chill is courtesy of a deep upper low over the Great Lakes that is resulting in a really chilly weekend east of the Mississippi.
The cold front to our NW is more just a moisture boundary as there is very little temperature change on either side. You can see the mid to upper 70s over Texas that will be our weather for the next couple of days.
Satellite views show mostly clear skies across the southern states from coast to coast, There are no sign of return moisture from the Gulf and rain chances will be near zero for most of next week. Finally, I predicted the Saints would beat the Titans 24-21. Alas, had they made all their extra points, the final score would have been 24-23 Saints. I have a call into Coach Payton to see if he needs a 74 year old kicker for extra points? So far, no return call!!! He must be on plane coming home? Stay tuned!
