Higher Sun Angle Working Its Magic...

As we head towards "Meteorological" Spring in 2 weeks, we are seeing how the higher sun angle PLUS the longer hours of daylight start to take the edge off of the Winter cold.  As the winds slackened this afternoon, it began to feel really nice outside after a chilly start.

We will continue that upswing for the next 4-5 days as our next front won't arrive until Friday.

In fact look at how much of the nation is enjoying sunny skies from coast to coast.  There are no signs of our next storm system that is diving down from Canada along the West Coast. It's still Winter-like over the East with temps below freezing despite all the sunshine.

.  Tonight's & Sunday's parade will have no weather issues.   In fact, the next 4 days should be fairly quiet.      The changes will come later in the week and possibly affect many of next weekend's parades.

As usual, timing will be everything.  It's too soon to know how much rain will accompany Friday's front.  Also, will the front stall lingering the rain into Saturday?  All the TV stations are trying to guess what the weather will be like for the next 10 days.  My words of wisdom are simple.  The farther out in time one goes, the LESS ACCURATE the forecast.  Don't feel good or bad if the extended says it might rain on your parade.  Timing is key.  Stay tuned!
