It's Time To Rock & Roll Parades Again...

After Covid stole Mardi Gras 2021, it's time to let the good times roll again.  Parades this weekend will not need worry about any rain, but tonight will be too chilly as temps fall into the 40s with brisk northerly winds.  Going to Family Gras or watching parades, you'll need the full winter weather protection.  Right now it's not bad.

Saturday will still be chilly with a mixture of sun & clouds with Sunday getting warmer again.

The main storm track is way up north with another "clipper" diving out of Canada.  As the surface high centered just to our north slides eastward, we'll see a warming trend into next week.

There might be a few storms on Monday as a warm front comes out of the Gulf.  Much of next week will feel spring-like before another cold blast arrives late Thursday.  We'll chill down for Friday & Saturday, but there should be no rain until later on Sunday..  That system should move out on Monday leaving Mardi Gras dry & comfy cool.

In the short term, north winds & lingering clouds will keep the South Shore above freezing tonight .  North of Lake P. temps will dip to the low to mid 30s.  Finally...

How do you know it's snow and not clouds?  Look at the bottom picture where you can see the rivers stand out.   Neat.  Stay tuned!
