Sunshine On My Shoulders Makes Me Happy...

I hate cloudy days as my body just doesn't have the energy that sunny days bring me.  This weekend was near cloudless and, if you were dressed for the chill, it felt great to be outside.  But that's about to change as another upper disturbance over the Pacific NW quickly races our way.

Just like the last system, models race this disturbance to the east.  SPC indicates there will be a slight severe threat in Texas tomorrow and to our east on Tuesday into Wednesday.

The upper air graphics begin with this morning with the next valid for Tuesday AM.  It quickly lifts out with another trough coming for Friday.

Return flow is developing along the Texas coast, but dew points remain quite low.  I don't see another real cold blast coming during the next 7-10 days.

This coming week looks to be warmer with several rainy threats.

Monday should see more clouds, but any rain will hold off until late tomorrow night into early on Tuesday.   I have all my plants back outside & uncovered as this week should be a good one for our lawns & gardens.  Stay tuned!
